Information for Parents and Professionals 2010
On OMRDD Services (Course G1023)

Dec, 2, 2010 From: 7 pm to 9 pm (Eve)
Course Description: A two hour overview introduces families and professionals to the types of supports and services available. Topics include Eligibility, Family Support Services, Medicaid Service Coordination, Home and Community Based Waiver, Employment Services, Residential Services including Family Care, Medicaid, SSI and Self Determination.

Universal Pre-Kindergarten Registration
This program is for district residents only.
Your
child must be 4 years old by December 1 of
the school year of entry to
qualify.
In the 2010-11 school year, the District is offering FREE
Universal Pre-Kindergarten classes at the Phillips Avenue School and
at the Aquebogue Elementary School. FREE bus transportation (for qualified
students) will be available at these sites only. Registration will begin
on April 5, 2010 beginning at 8:15 a.m. at Pupil Personnel for next year's classes. It will continue until the classes are filled.
There are five other sites throughout Riverhead that provide this
service; however, free transportation is only offered to the Phillips
Avenue and Aquebogue sites.

Letter Announcing Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program for 2010-11 School Year (pdf)
THE RIVERHEAD CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT IS ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE DISTRICT'S UNIVERSAL PRE-KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM FOR SEPTEMBER 2010. THIS WILL BE THE 13th YEAR THAT THE DISTRICT WILL BE PARTICIPATING IN THIS NEW YORK STATE PROGRAM. This program provides half-day pre-kindergarten classes 5 days per week for eligible children who will be four years old on or before December 1, 2010.
Transportation is only provided to the district's programs.
